I am a research associate at UCL, working as the research lead at the Centre for Behaviour Change with Prof. Susan Michie. Prior to this post I was a research fellow at Northumbria University, working with Dr. Tamsin Saxton after spending a year at the Leeds University Business School, working with Prof. Wandi Bruine de Bruin as part of the Centre for Decision Research. Following my PhD I spent a short period as a research associate in the Department of Psychology at the University of York, working with Dr. Gary Lewis. I completed my PhD in the Perception Lab at the University of St. Andrews in June 2013.
The overarching aim of my research is to understand what drives our behaviour and how we can shape our behaviour to improve wellbeing. My work covers both applied and theoretical research. For example, I have investigated the UK public’s willingness to protect against heatwaves and implement climate change mitigation and am currently focusing on behaviour change interventions to improve people's cybersecurity behaviour. In addition, my PhD work focused on face perception and I am still working on several projects pertaining to this field.
